The Crusty DemonsThe Crusty Demons are a group of extreme freestyle motorcross (FMX) riders who become popular over a decade ago thanks to the action video film called "The Crusty Demons of Dirt" which was a doco-style piece exposing the behind-the-scenes life of motocross riders performing outrageous bike tricks against the backdrops of the deserts, sand dunes and arid landscapes of California. Since then, these motorcross legends have turned their extreme sport into an extreme lifestyle experience and phenomenal money-making machine. The sport of motorcross though has been around for many years. It involves racing off-road motorcycles, otherwise known as dirt bikes around man-made dirt tracks. The group, which comprises an ever-growing list of fearless riders, formed 10 years ago in southern California. Since then they have made eight films under the Fleshwound Films name and have toured the world performing new and increasingly risky moves. Riding off cliffs, bungee jumping and snowboarding all feature in the videos, backed by a thrash metal soundtrack – and now the "backflip" - a trick so dangerous it is banned from Australian motocross competition. Since 1994 the Crusty Demons video and DVD series has become the biggest selling action sports series of all time, creating FMX legends such as Seth Enslow, Mad Mike Jones and Brian Deegan. Drawing on this success, FMX and the Crusty Demons are now the most popular of all the action sports, globally. The live shows were created in 2003 and were an instant hit with sell-out tours in the USA, Australia, New Zealand and India. This makes them one of the most successful action sports touring acts ever to visit those countries. The International Motorcycle Co. Pty Ltd (IMC) is exclusively licensed by the Crusty Demons to produce the Crusty Demons ProZ bike range – a superb range of mini motorcross or "pit bikes" starting with the entry-level Bandit ProZ 125, right up to the stunt-capable, power charged Blade ProZ 150. Whilst there are many other bikes on the market of a similar build and engine size, none of them have a CNC frame and the exclusive Crusty Demons endorsement and branding. Endorsements don’t come easy. The IMC bike range had to pass the toughest test of all – being accepted by Crusty riders as being capable and reliable for performing some of the extreme tricks and stunts the Crusty’s are famous for. The company has spent nearly 5-years developing the bike and tweaking its design to ensure the finished product is something special. And safe. And with the establishment of a national dealer network in 2008/09, the Crusty Demons ProZ bike range is now supported by qualified and Authorised IMC Dealers around the country, all backed by a company-run warranty program and spare parts. The ProZ bike range is the Official Pit Bike of the Crusty Demons and has been featured during the Crusty live shows since 2004 including the 2008 "Unleash Hell" tour which included Australia. The tours always feature the best line up off Crusty riders available with new tricks, stunts, freestyling, quad freestyling, back flips, snowmobiles and mini motorcross madness. Freaks, stunts, the Crusty Babes and some of the most extraordinary riding feats ever seen ensure that these shows are not to be missed. |
